Connection Coaching
For some people, workshops and small groups are the best space for learning and growth. For others, one-on-one or much smaller group is a better fit.
This can be especially true when someone is finding themselves having a hard time connecting to another person, or a different experience. We can use a variety of frameworks to help you connect better to those who are important to you.

You inspired me to think about how I show up for my staff...and as a result, Monday’s PD was very different, and I’m still getting texts and emails from the staff about it. We have a long way to go, but in a short amount of time, you have helped us so much!
Having completed four sessions with you, I want to thank you for your integrity and clarity in doing this work. I reflect back to you that your faithful adherence in addressing trauma and resilience through the lens of justice and compassion helps to alleviate the “soul wound” we all suffer. Done in your unique way- a lively, vibrant and sensitive voice!
Throughout the entire project, Carly demonstrated excellent professionalism and a delightful authentic enthusiasm that seamlessly tied together the weekly experience. Most importantly, each week Carly interwove a well-planned and creative ongoing experience while building trusting relationships with 15 participants. Carly is guided by her superior intelligence which is always informed by her deep and empathic human sensitivity. She sought the direction of the participants to direct the content of the sessions and the project and ultimately promoted healing experience for staff and participants alike. Carly helped us achieve our highest goals and aspirations.
Carly, a strength of yours is community-building, which is sorely needed in this socially-distant world. You can approach wellness, trauma, and resilience from a non-threatening access-point. You talk about real and scary things in a collective, non-threatening sort of way. You have your pulse on the direct service experience in youth development.
Having an outsider come into the classroom to provide perspective can be so eye opening! Thank you again for visiting our program and providing effective strategies and tools for such "real" situations that we as educators, (and humans in society!) face each and every day!
The workshop was well planned, with the perfect amount of information within the short time frame. All of the content was relevant and the added focus on strategies for adults was particularly useful.
You do good work and we are all benefiting from it.
Carly, I want to say that you are truly a soulful academic. I am very happy to see how this work is coming along and it is because of how the process has unfolded. I may have made the space for it, but you have held that space with such care and attention to the work AND the people.
Carly has a great sense of the strength of community and the potency of harnessing this strength. Carly’s strong-suit is her maturity as a facilitator and her use of theater tools to engage non-theatrical people and communities. Our organization is a demanding and difficult one, riddled with challenges both in our process and in the execution of our work. Carly was incredibly adept at engaging in these challenges in a proactive way; she made herself a potent collaborator and gave of herself fully. Carly’s balance of being a collaborator and a leader is exciting and admirable. I would describe Carly as ferociously committed, disciplined in her approach, and collaborative in her nature.
Even though we only had one workshop with Carly, she remembered all of our names and our stories we told. She also took the time to pronounce one of our teammates' names correctly, which created an even stronger connection between her and our staff. The [Zoom workshop] space Carly created was so helpful, supportive and real.
I saw you had a slides you wanted to get to but you went at a pace that was right for the group. And you stopped when it was too much.
Thank you for teaching this class for us - it can't have been easy virtually, but your energy and enthusiasm each week was fab.
Carly has a rare combination of traits: intelligence, creativity, dependability, patience, diligence, ingenuity, honesty, energy, serenity, and a positive attitude. One of Carly’s greatest assets is her malleability: she is capable of problem-solving in a myriad of capacities, and while working with me morphed effortlessly.
